Digital watermark / provenance embedding

Origin, ownership and handling information are marked into the image so they survive re-encoding, resizing and ordinary redistribution. The mark is invisible in normal viewing and can be read back later to establish where a file came from. Reading the mark back requires only the file and the key, with no reference to the original image. Marking runs at publication speed, so it fits into an existing pipeline.
