People are counted live from a density estimate rather than by detecting individual bodies, so packed scenes are still measurable. Counts stream out per zone and per interval, and no identity is involved at any point. Counts are calibrated per camera, so figures from different viewpoints remain comparable. Alerts can fire when a zone approaches its limit.
